Exciting News!!!

So I have some exciting news!!!....well after a lot of talking Dean and I have decided that I will become a Stampin Up demostrator.....Boy I am so excited!!  There is so much room to grow here.  My hope is to just learn everything I can about stamping and paper crafting...and Stampin Up offers me this and a way to make new friends...
I have to say that I am a little afraid and nervous...but I guess that it comes with anything new. The great thing for me is that I have two wonderful people behind me...Dean my DH and my wonderful friend Anna.....So once I get my starter kit maybe I will make that be my first video....what do you think?

Some Cards That I Made

I thought that I would post some cards that I made.  I have so many more but didn't want to bore you with too many cards.  I find that the more I make the more I learn.  It is so very peaceful for me to sit at my table and create something.....and then I enjoy watching peoples reactions to the cards.  The problem is that I have been doing more card making then scrapbooking....lol  I have to get back into my scrapbooking!  I hope that everyone is have an enjoyable week so far!!

My Valentine's Day!!

I just wanted to share my Valentine's Day with all of you.  It was a pretty relaxing day.  My DH was so sweet and bought me two cricut cartridges..... Winter Woodland and Old West and then knew I didn't have any more glue for my ATG gun so he told me to by 12 rolls.... so now I'm set for adhesive for awhile.  We also exchanged cards and spent the rest of the day just relaxing.  I love those days.....He even took tomorrow making all of us have a three day weekend.
Well I hope that all of you had just as good of a day as I did.....and you spent it with people that you care about just like I did.

My Birthday Gifts

This gift is from DH...he found a great deal at Target and then took two days mounting it to make sure there were no wires showing (he loves doing stuff like this). If someones tv is not working it is so much fun for him to figure how to fix it.

This was also a gift from my DH. While I was in the hospital he called me and said turn it to HSN....."look what I just bought for your birthday," he said. With both are a little addicted. Sometimes you just can't beat their prices....He says it was for when I start posting my own videos.....I think I still have to work up the courage for that...

And this all came from my wonderful friend Anna....It came in a beautiful basket....of course I ripped into it first and then thought to take a picture....she is so thoughtful and such a good friend she bought me a crop-a-dile that I have been wanting forever and some ink pads so that I could try embossing and I did.....lets just say I did and I loved and I want to learn so much more!!!

And lastly from my kids they bought me a bind-it-all......something else I have been wanting for a while....while at the CHA we watched them demo it and my DH was impressed....and so I got it for my birthday

I just want to make sure that everyone knows just how thankful I am. Thank you Dean, I love you very much. To my kids Katelynn, Nikolas, and Chase thank you I love you. And to Anna thank you so much for being my friend.

I know this was a long post the next won't be so long....lol

The Pink Stamper

So I don't even know how to start this post because I am such a nerd.....lol While I was looking at my favorite blog mypinkstamper.com I noticed that there was something about me.....yes about me!!! I know I couldn't believe it either. When my husband met her I was starstruck but she was so down to earth and she and Karlee were super sweet. I can't believe that she remembered me let alone wrote something about me on her blog.
And because of this I have all these new friends and I can't wait to share more about me with you and to learn more about all of you. So look out for new posts and in the near future I am going to give video a shot!
So thank you Robyn for being such a sweetheart and making me feeling so important.
I have to add a p.s. to this story when I told my DH about the post and everything and then he saw all the comments, oh boy!.....I could see his chest swell with pride and he was excited as I was. He was excited because people remember him too and that made it special for him too. I am the luckiest woman in the world because he is the most supportive loving man I know.
So that is enough sharing for today....in the next week or so I am going to start sharing projects.... haven't done that in a while...so bye for now I hope that you all have a wonderful weekend!!!

I'm Back

Sorry guys.....I have not been on for a long while. I had surgery on the 28th to repair a hernia that I have had since I was pregnant with Chase (not that you really wanted to know all of that) But I am on the road to recovery and with any luck should be blogging regularly within the next week or so.
Just want to take the time to say a few thank you's.....the first to my amazing husband who has been there since the moment I went into surgery and hasn't let my side since. Thank you for everything that you do for me and our family every single day, I love you.......second for my friend Anna who has checked up on me and made sure that there was nothing that I needed or wanted, made all the offers for kid pick-ups and even made me a beautiful get-well card, thank you Anna for being such a wonderful friend that I can always count on. I only hope that someday I can return the favor to you.......third to my adoptive mom Lucia, you have been more than a mom to me you have been a true friend and I thank you....and lastly I would like to thank Anthony and Arlene, I don't even know where start....Arlene what can I say woman you are amazing...this lady cooked so much food she made sure that my husband didn't have to cook one single meal.....thank you so so much for being such great friends......I am the luckiest woman in the world to have people in my life like this...what would I do without you all.....I'm only glad I'm never have to know!!
