My day at the CHA

I had the greatest all day date with my bestest friend and husband. He is so very supportive and encouraging. When I said to him that I really wanted to go and meet the Pink Stamper and that they were having this craft type fair in true Dean fashion he said when is it and can we both go. Yesterday he sat with me and made very make-and-take. When I started to cry when I met Robyn he did all the taking for me and explained all the things to her that I wanted to say that I couldn't. He made sure that I got my picture with her and Karlee. And even though I'm sure he was ready to leave much earlier, he didn't make one move for the door until I said it was time to go....Thank you Dean, for being my best friend and my husband I love you!!!

My Day....

I think I had one of the best days I have had in the longest time......I spent the day with my new friend Anna. We share the same interest.....everything scrapbooking. It's nice to have someone to talk to that either wants to learn or already knows and we can sit and talk about it. It is something that I have a hard time doing. I don't make friend easy and it is so very nice that I have found her and we have this connection. I hope that we have many more days like this. I can't wait for tomorrow it is finally the CHA and I hope that I learn lots of new this to share with my new friend!!

MISSING IN ACTION....

I know I have been missing in action for a few days.....but I truly have a good reason. I have a hernia that needs to be repaired (like you really want to know) too much information......but it is the truth. On January 28th I will be having it repaired so I will be down for a few weeks (no housework YAY!!! no heavy lifting)......but lots of crafting....YAY!!! So I will be able to get back into the groove. The thing that I am most looking forward to is this weekend, Saturday is the CHA and I am hoping to meet My Pink Stamper......she is the person who has set me on this path of sharing what I create with you. To not be afraid....and that there just might be others out there just like me, who need that little push. So I am for sure taking my camera and taking lots of pictures so I can share and scrap about it.....until then have a great week and an even better weekend!!!! Brandy

An amazing deal....

I was going to try and get a picture up but didn't have the time. The past two days I have found the most amazing deals. First, at Michael's yesterday they had a bid sale on everything and the between 1 and 9 pm you got and extra 20% of your total purchase. So I got some great stamps, I got Halloween, Christmas, and just because stamps. Then today I went to Big Lots and they have Circut cartridges there for 30 dollars. They don't have many to chose from, but I was lucky enough that what they did have I didn't have so I got Stretch Your Imagination for 30 bucks. Maybe tomorrow I will post a picture of all my great deals. Now all I can do is sit back and count the days until the CHA. I can't wait!!! Excited can't even begin to describe how I feel!!! My New Scrapping Buddy

I'm so excited today because, today I got a new scrappin' buddy. She is the mother of a friend of my daughter and she wants to scrap with me. And wow does this excite me. I have had no one that really wanted to scrapbook with me in years. It will be fun to see what we can come up with......I will keep you posted!

Counting The Days...

Well I am sitting here ready for the day to end and the morning to be here. I'm ready for the winter vacation to be over......you see I love normal and life has not been normal. Vacations always throw life into chaos. I'm ready for some structure.
The next thing that I am waiting for not very patiently for is the CHA....it is here in Anaheim and I am so excited. I have never been to a CHA but from what people have told me I am going to have the greatest time....also while I am there I will get to meet The Pink Stamper :).....That makes me even more excited.
So I end my evening on one final note the pens I got yesterday......LOVE THEM!!!! My daughter knows how to pick them!! Have a great week!!

A Little History Behind The Name

I thought that I would give you guys a little history behind the name Penbrandy. My husband gave it to me over 10 years ago. It started because he needed to set me up an email address and he needed something that, one could easily be remembered, two had something to do with me, and three had to be something I liked. Well it worked on all counts.
I'm going to admit something I don't admit often, I have an obsession......pens......pens of any kind. I want to try them, buy them, look at them, borrow them from people......anything I can do to get my hands on a new pen. My whole family knows this and are always bringing me a new pen to feed my hunger. And this is how the name Penbrandy was born.
My sweet daughter went shopping at Walmart tonight and look what she bought for me.......PENS!!!!! New ones I haven't even tried before....I'm so excited to give them all try. She is such a sweetheart......I love you Katelynn!!!
