I Haven't Forgotten

I'm sure you all think that I have forgotten.....but I promise I haven't......Life has just been really crazy. School is finally out and I can breathe a little. I promise that in the next week or so I will post some pictures of some of the things that I have been working on and maybe even a video of my new scrapbook area. I can't wait to share with all of you what I have been up too...Miss you bunches!!!

Pink Stamper Challenge

Finally I am able to enter a challenge.....I am so excited!!!......My craft area is coming together and soon I will have a little sneak peak for all of you. I made my card for my husband for Father's Day using Create a Critter and My Pink Stamper new stamp set. I made the card simple and different then most Father's Day cards because that is the way he likes them. I hope that you all have a happy, healthy, safe holiday weekend. I will be spending my time with my three favorite guys....just missing one girl :( but we will see her on Monday....See you soon...HUGS...Brandy

Update

Just wanted to give you a little update and let you know how things are going......we are moved in and working together to get stuff put away. My wonderful husband Dean put my shelves up last night and I am still working on the painting. We still have a long way to go but we will get it done. The kids are working towards the last days of school.....Katelynn only has 2 weeks left and I think that Nikolas has a month. So I am ready to say bring on the summer.....I am ready for a break. As soon as my area is finished I promise I will post pictures and maybe a video...I hope all is well for all of you....talk to you soon!!!

We are so proud of this young man....he has been playing the violin for 2 years now and this is the final performance of the year. There has been a lot of budget cuts and there is a lot of uncertainty about the music program at his school....So this could very well be his final performance all together. So we want to make sure he knows just how proud we really are of him. Nikolas you have done a wonderful job we love you and are so very proud of you.

Working On It

Well we are counting down the days until the big move....we are lucky enough to be able to move some of our stuff into the garage ahead of time.....so that should make the move easier. We were able to see the house yesterday and it open the flood gates of inspiration. There are so many things that we want to do....it will be fun setting thing up.....I just hope that everything runs smoothly and that goes the way we plan.

We Are Moving.....

So I am sad and happy at the same time.....We are moving.....We have been living in an apartment since Chase was 6 months old....The apartment worked for us for a long time....it fit all of our needs.....well as the years have passed the needs have changed....so we have decided to move to a house. It's bigger then the apartment and we have a front and backyard so the kids have lots of room to play (as well as the dog)
The best part is it gives Dean a bigger area for himself and a bigger area for me too!! So all these things should make life a little calmer and comfortable.
Now on to the bad parts packing....I HATE packing.....But I'm excited so it seems to be going pretty fast.....Dean and I are a pretty good team so as long as we stick together we can get it done.....

My First Cake

Well I did it....This is my first cake...and for a first cake it didn't come out too bad. But let me tell you I am tired. It is a lot of work. I started at about 9 this morning and just finished at 1:30pm. And I feel it all over....lol I feel good about it for the first cake. The good thing is that I know that I can do it again and it can only get better. I can't imagine how people do it with home made fondant though....it was hard enough with the store bought stuff. So tell me what you think....I hope you guys are have a great weekend....now I have to go and clean the kitchen.....YUCK!!!
