We Are Moving.....

So I am sad and happy at the same time.....We are moving.....We have been living in an apartment since Chase was 6 months old....The apartment worked for us for a long time....it fit all of our needs.....well as the years have passed the needs have changed....so we have decided to move to a house. It's bigger then the apartment and we have a front and backyard so the kids have lots of room to play (as well as the dog)
The best part is it gives Dean a bigger area for himself and a bigger area for me too!! So all these things should make life a little calmer and comfortable.
Now on to the bad parts packing....I HATE packing.....But I'm excited so it seems to be going pretty fast.....Dean and I are a pretty good team so as long as we stick together we can get it done.....
So look forward to new videos and new pictures once we get settled...Hope everyone is having a great week!!

My First Cake

Well I did it....This is my first cake...and for a first cake it didn't come out too bad. But let me tell you I am tired. It is a lot of work. I started at about 9 this morning and just finished at 1:30pm. And I feel it all over....lol I feel good about it for the first cake. The good thing is that I know that I can do it again and it can only get better. I can't imagine how people do it with home made fondant though....it was hard enough with the store bought stuff. So tell me what you think....I hope you guys are have a great weekend....now I have to go and clean the kitchen.....YUCK!!!

The Cricut Cake

I was one of the lucky few to get a Cricut Cake. HSN had a great package deal.....one that we just couldn't pass up. My first attempt was not on a cake like most it was just on some cupcakes. I know I have so much more to learn, but for me that is the fun part. In the next few weeks I will be learning everything there is about cake making, icing, fondant and just about anything else there is to know.
I am so lucky to have a friend that has been cake making for a while now and when I begged her to teach me what she knows she sure without a second thought (thanks Arlene!!!) So as the weeks progress I will post pictures and videos so that you can see how far I have come.
One last thing before I go you can now buy my cards online the website is

thepinkcricketonline.com

It's not just cards it's so much more so if you get a chance check it out and tell me what you think.......Thanks again everyone and have a great week!!!!

I thought I would show couple of cards I have been working on. To be honest if I showed them all it would be the longest post ever....lol I have been working hard on making cards because I am going to try and sell them.....not to sure how it's going to work out....I never seem to have enough faith in myself and my abilities. But I do think the cards are getting better with the more I make. I actually like the puzzle part of the card making.....by which I mean matching the colors and picking what papers and embellishments go with what....I love that! Well I hope you all have a wonderful weekend and that it doesn't go by too fast......Happy Crafting!!! Brandy

What I Did While I Was In Utah

I'm finally home and back from Utah.....it was a wonderful trip and great to see old friends. I went for more then that though....I went to check everything that I can't seem to find here in California.....boy have I been missing out. My first stop was Hobby Lobby (It took two trips) The first trip was short, only 30 minutes but the second trip lasted much longer.....lets just say I know the store backwards and forwards now. They had some great deals that you will get to see in my second video. The second place I got to go was the Scrapbook Expo and they too had so great deals...the best I think was DCWV...they had their own booth and way discounted paper packs. Then we went to Roberts crafts...now Roberts crafts was nice but they didn't deals I had hoped...I did find a couple of things that I just couldn't live without....but it wasn't my favorite store. My last stop on trip was to Riverton, Utah and for all you stamper you know what is there.....yes Stampin' Up Headquarters.....and as many of you know I recently became a Stampin' Up demonstrator.....so it was really cool to see where it all comes from. It was a jam packed filled little vacation filled with lots of fun...I will have another video for you maybe later tonight or tomorrow....Have a great night!!!
